One of the most unique aspects of a Featherbed Wedding is that you are surrounded by beautiful grounds including our old trees and the famous cabooses. As part of our wedding package you get the use of all nine cabooses for your family or wedding party as well as our Grand Dining Hall with its 100 year old rock fireplace.
The Featherbed Railroad grounds can accommodate up to 200 guests for an outdoor ceremony and reception.

Honeymoons at the Featherbed Railroad
In addition to weddings, we host a lot of honeymoons at the Featherbed Railroad. Most of the cabooses have in-room Jacuzzi tubs, wonderful queen-size featherbeds and each room is completely detached for the ultimate in privacy and peace. Whether a couple loves the spice of La Loose Caboose, our tribute to New Orleans; the open-road feeling of Easy Rider which even has handle bars on the head board or the romance of the rails in Orient Express, there are nine different themes to match individual style.
We offer a wonderful full breakfast featuring fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, direct access to and views of the lake and the opportunity to sample from over 20 local wineries. Many of the guests who have stayed with us on their honeymoons return year after year to celebrate their anniversary - some trying a different caboose each year. Of course we are thrilled to help make that day extra special with rose petals on the bed, champagne, chocolate-dipped strawberries or any number of other unique touches.
