When the caboose now known as Rosebud arrived on the property, there was a rose painted on the side of the caboose by a "graffiti artist." The innkeepers couldn't shake the thought of "a guy down on his luck, hitching rides on a train and a woman named Rose to blame." Hence the name - Rosebud.
From its rose patterned comforter and curtains, to its oak-framed entry this caboose is very warm and inviting.
For your reading pleasure, there is a comfortable wing back chair and once it's time to really relax, fill up the Jacuzzi tub for a comfortable soak. Of course there is the fabulous featherbed as well.
In the morning you can enjoy an invigorating cup of coffee from your in-room coffee maker right in the built-in breakfast nook under the rosy glow of the Tiffany lamp.
Rosebud: $167 Per Night
Rosebud Caboose History
Rosebud started its life as a Caboose on the Southern Pacific rail line. Southern Pacific built these cabooses with bay windows instead of a cupola on the top.
