Wine & Dine Weekends

Our popular Winemaker's All-Inclusive weekends will continue in April with the wines of Brassfield Estate. Brassfield Estate's wines are the result of intensive efforts by their winemaker to get their special High Valley Appellation recognized as a unique growing region. Brassfield also has some incredible wine caves which we will be visiting on our tour around the county.

This package has been put together in collaboration with caterer Shannon Michele from Cache Creek Catering and Robert Folk from the Limousine Connection. Shannon has spent her life in the area immersing herself into the study of when each local delicacy is at its peak of freshness and succulence. Whether it be incredible local berries, mushrooms, goat cheese or vegetables Shannon's passion for the ultimate fresh local food helps her to know when they're perfect and how to include each item into a delightful pleasure for the palate.

Our all-inclusive weekend has everything a wine aficionado could love - from perfectly paired foods and wines to an intimate dinner with a celebrated winemaker. Once you have arrived you need not worry about any aspect of your journey - it will all be included and attended to.

Friday Night

Arrive to heavy hors d'oeuvres paired perfectly to a variety of wines. This is your chance to meet the other participants in this weekend and get to know the winemaker while enjoying multiple award-winning wines. You will also have a variety of scrumptious appetizers paired with the wines to welcome you from your journey and start the weekend out right.

Start your day with our home-made hearty breakfast so that you're full and ready for a day's adventures among the vineyards of Lake County.

After breakfast, join your fellow guests as you are whisked to several of Lake County's finest wineries. Once again our caterer, Shannon, has come through and will provide a basket of food to take with you that features a variety of gourmet treats that are paired with the wines you will be enjoying throughout the day.

This treasure hunt for your tastebuds and sense of adventure is made more exceptional by our limousine driver, Robert, whose knowledge of the area, the wines and the people who make Lake County such an incredible wine discovery.

After a day of touring Lake County's finest wineries, enjoying the fruits of their labor and learning the vision that helps them win the awards that they do, not to mention some wonderful munchies to go along with the experience, you will be whisked back to the Featherbed Railroad. This is a great chance to enjoy the comfort of your Jacuzzi tub for a while, or just sit on the porch and share highlights of your journey with the other guests who have shared the delightful day with you.

Saturday evening we will bring Michael back and our caterer, Shannon, will prepare a four-course gourmet dinner for you created specifically to go perfectly with a variety of Brassfield's multiple award-winning wines.
