Every month for 2013 the Featherbed Railroad hosts a local artist in a reception on the final Sunday of the month.
We have the privilege of hosting a local artist to showcase their talent. We also bring in a winery to offer wine tasting to participants of this event. Lastly, each artist gets to highlight a local charity so your donation will get you wine, some light hors d'oeuvres and a feel-good contribution to charity.
Our artist for February 24 2013 is Laurent Gautheir. Laurent has been painting since he was a young lad and paints landscapes with oil. Laurent is a bright and uplifting person and we're really looking forward to spending the afternoon with him.
We've asked our friend Michael Noggle to come and pour his wines - it's always a treat to have Michael on hand. Not only have his wines won multiple awards, but Michael is also a great story teller in his own right.
Our appetizers are going to be just what you'd like with Noggle's exceptional red wines and there will be bacon involved. We will also have a variety of other appetizers available as part of the paired wine and appetizer portion of the afternoon.
The requested donation for wine tasting and paired appetizers is $15.
