If you've ever thought about a trip to New Orleans and Mardi Gras, perhaps getting sidetracked in La Loose Caboose might be the right thing for you. As you enter your Caboose Suite, you are warned by the New Orleans Police Department to beware of pickpockets and loose women.
Once inside, there is a burgundy Jacuzzi tub for two, your own private mini bar to enjoy whatever you bring with you to drink and even a bit of neon above the bed proclaiming the featherbed experience as "La Playpen." Of course there are smoked mirrors surrounding the bed, a satin comforter, our famous featherbed and marbled floors.
We even have a little surprise up in the cupola, which is the perfect place to watch the sun set on a beautiful day with direct views of Clearlake. If you get outside, you'll have your own private patio with seating for two. If you've heard the song Atchison, Topeka and the Santa Fe you might have sung about this caboose, which was a member of that railroad's family. This is a very traditional caboose from the outside, while being completely refurbished on the inside.

La Loose Caboose Suite includes a Jacuzzi tub for two. There is also an outdoor patio deck with a beautiful view of Clearlake. For serious sunrise or sunset views, La Loose Caboose features seating for two way up high in the cupola - a wonderful way to start or end the perfect romantic day. All Featherbed Caboose Suites are equipped with a coffee maker, personal refrigerator and television. La Loose Caboose Suite video system includes a VHS player with access to our huge video library including many train videos. All of our Caboose Suites feature a queen sized bed with a featherbed cover.
