Every Saturday Steele Winery has a farmer's market where you can go to enjoy wines and also pick up some veggies, local fruit and even honey and other things. Well worth the trip!

Double Gold

Pooling Resources

Several wineries pooled resources and poured their wines at this incredible location with the infinity pool. The views were as fantastic as the wines.

People used all sorts of methods of getting around during Wine Adventure including some fancy limousines.

High Elevation Grapes

While the average wine grape in the USA grows at about 332 feet, Lake County wine grapes grow at an average of at least 1000' higher than this giving our grapes unique characteristics. About 85% of our grapes are sold to Napa-branded wineries - Napa knows where the really good wine grapes come from! It could also be that the expense of trucking our grapes to Napa is what makes them charge so much for tasting fees.

Wine Thief Again

This time Peggy's enjoying some wine courtesy of the wine thief. Well, that's actually Miguel of Mount Konocti Winery is using the thief on his double gold medal winning wine.

Several of the stops also featured some great music including Gregory Graham who had this very talented group entertaining the audience. Incidentally, look at the band's set list - it's on iPads! That is cool!
